June 17 – 19, 2016
Each year the Nantucket Book Festival 2016 draws authors and their fans to an idyllic setting . . . Nantucket.
Nantucket Book Festival anticipation and attendance has steadily increased. As stated by Executive Director Maddie Hjulstrom: “With four successful festivals under our belt, we’re beginning to look at the bigger picture – the impact we want to make on Nantucket literacy, and the legacy we want to create in regard to making great books and authors accessible to the island through the work of the Nantucket Book Foundation, under which the Nantucket Book Festival operates.”
After all, how many countless books have been read while relaxing on this island paradise? Who goes to the beach without a book in hand?
